We Are All Stars

On Friday, December 12, 2014, students in VSA’s COOL Schools Program at Boston Green Academy and Dorchester Academy got to put their creative skills on display by designing their own Converse classic high-tops as a part of We Are All Stars Day.

The We Are All Stars event is part of Converse’s mission to engage youth creatively. The day honored the unique qualities and creative spirit that lives within each of us, regardless of ability.

Throughout the month of January student-designed Converse sneakers will be on display at the Open Door Gallery, the Converse Store on Newbury Street in Boston, and the Converse Corporate Office in North Andover.

The Open Door Gallery promotes the work of artists with disabilities and shifts our community's perceptions of ability while enjoying quality art.
