Visiting teacher Doug Stowe will discuss "Wisdom of the Hands: Why We Still Need a Wood Shop" Friday, July 6, 7pm at the Eliot School, 24 Eliot St, Jamaica Plain.  Admission is free.

Doug will pull together aspects of the Arts & Crafts, Do-it-Yourself and Manual Training movements, and argue for why we still need all three to provide direction in education.

Then come to a potluck on Saturday, July 7, 7pm at Sprout, 339-R Summer St, Davis Sq, Somerville for informal mingling and conversation.

    Please RSVP to anorman@eliotschool.org
