    Alyson Finbow

Hello, Kind Souls!  My name is Alyson.  I grew up in New Jersey, and have been there until coming to Massachusetts for college.  I am currently a student at Lesley University.  I am studying Art Therapy, because I love making art and also love helping people.  I have recently started helping out as an intern for VSA MA!

    What are your favorite pastimes?
          "Drawing, playing volleyball, and singing."

If you could be a cartoon character, who would you be?
          "I would be Bugs Bunny."

You are trapped on an island.  What three items do you want to have with you?
"A journal to write in, sunscreen, and a friend!"

Do you have any uncommon talents or quirks?
          "I have a great memory."

    What brings you to VSA?
"I am interested in doing art with people to help them express themselves and raise self-esteem.  I am here to get a taste of how VSA does that!"

What are you doing during your internship?
"Currently I am helping behind the scenes with paper work, etc.  Sometimes, I will go and watch/participate in art classes that VSA's wonderful teaching artists have created."
