Looking for holiday gift ideas? Help welcome the Artists Beyond Challenges exhibit to the West Suburban YMCA. Come meet the artists and learn about this Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission group. Many kinds of artwork will be for sale. Refreshments will be provided.

Silent Rhythms has partnered with MetaMovements and Kerry Thompson (pictured above) to provide two ASL-interpreted workshops on Latin dancing. The workshops will be held December 1 and 8, 2012 at Blackstone Community Center, which is the building next to where Salsa in the Park Summer was held. After the workshops there will be a dance social so you can practice what you've learned or watch other folks dance.

Now we do. Giving Tuesday is a campaign to create a national day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season. It celebrates and encourages charitable activities that support nonprofit organizations.
